Lime/Lemonade and Lavender

This is a gorgeous summer refresher. Easy to make, store in the fridge and drink anytime. Inspiration from our garden, using growing Lavender and limes and lemons from the tree.



Ingredients

Step 1

Melt sugar and into water over a warm stove. Add lavender heads and warm over a heat (not boil) for 10 minutes.If using stevia, just heat water with lavender heads.

Step 2

Leave syrup to cool. If you are adding stevia not sugar, add in now and stir. Once cool put in fridge for an hour.

Step 3

Take lavender heads out if you wish and then pour syrup into an ice filled jug with 1/2 lemon juice and fizzy water. Stir. Add in more lemon juice to taste.

The two biggest benefits of lemons are strong antibacterial, antiviral, and immune-boosting powers and their use as a weight loss aid because lemon juice is a digestive aid and liver cleanser.
