Strawberries “no cream” panna cotta

This is a vegan version of a classic panna cotta. It´s simple to make and can be made well in advance of any meal, sitting in the fridge until you need. This version is a simple strawberries and cream but it´s easily adaptable to using other flavours. Using full fat thick coconut milk makes this super light and melt in the mouth.



Step 1

Add the coconut milk, agar agar and coconut oil into a pan. Heat on a very low heat until the agar is blended well, if it´s a strip make sure it´s fully melted and incorporated into the coconut milk. Do not boil.

Step 2

Place the mix into a glass jar, cup, mould, bowl whatever you want to use. Leave in the fridge. Must give them 4 hours to set properly. They can be stored in the fridge for upto 2 days. Make sure they are covered if left overnight.

Step 3

Serve with fruit or favourite toppings, sauces or drizzles.
